Welcome to Balinfern
Balinfern is a 175 acre rural property in Meerschaum Vale in far north east NSW Australia. Meerschaum Vale is about 20 minutes from the Pacific Ocean just south of Ballina, very near Byron Bay, the most easterly point on the Pacific Ocean coast of Australia.
The name Balinfern harks back to the Scottish ancestry of one of the owners, whose maternal grandfather was born at the end of the 1800s in a very small fishing village named Balintore (in the parish of Fearn), on the far north east coast of Scotland north of Inverness.
