Priscilla (Letchworth Watch Me)

Priscilla (Letchworth Watch Me) was born 1 September 1994 and left us on 26 July 2004. She was our first Collie. Priscilla, bought as a pet, won our hearts from the moment we first saw her, and she is the reason we fell in love with the breed. She is the excuse we give for having 'caught' the 'bug' of showing and breeding this majestic breed, and there is never a day when we don't think of her and remember the love and kindness she gave us.
Priscilla, or 'Cilla' to her close friends, had a gentle temperament and fun-loving nature that made her a wonderful companion. She took on the responsibility of the mothering of both Hamish and Bella from the moment they arrived at home as very small puppies. By that time she had also taken charge of two Tonkinese kittens who also became a part of her family within weeks of her leaving her parents to come to live with us. She also played babysitter to Bella and Buffy's pups as if they were her own!
She was often our mascot at dog shows, and although she is was never shown in the show ring, she was always a real hit with the 'collie crowd' whenever she was with us at shows in Sydney in the early days of our show career. Children in particular always picked her out as their favourite collie at dog shows and she wasn't even shown!
